Art Description

Waves Change Identity is not a poetic metaphor but a juridical provocation. This photograph asks not only if water remembers, but if naming it otherwise erases what it once carried. It is about arrogance. The wave does not consent. It folds, it crashes, it recurs. But its identity is not given, it is claimed, again and again. The question is not whether water has identity, but whether identity survives renaming. In a world obsessed with branding, the image becomes a witness to something more ancient than ownership: motion without master. This is not nostalgia—it is resistance. The wave returns, indifferent to what we call it.
